Notes

Several small dropouts and some diginoise were removed from the first set, all of which were in between songs. One spot of d/n in Samson was removed transparently. The end of Day Job was patched from an alternate source. All editing and patching of the source done in Sound Forge 6.0 by Skankweed (skank@nycap.rr.com). Discs were then retracked with CD WAVE and verified with SHNTOOL. I think this is glitch free, but please report any problems to me so I can fix them.

I don't normally provide filler, but since the encore is also missing from the Silberman recording of 10/21 I'm providing it here to get it into wider circulation. This version is from the same Sony source used to patch the encore on these discs.

Thanks to Duncan for providing the source discs.

Subject: He Nodded Off !!
The Fat man nodded off between The Other One and Stella. Bobby went and tapped Jerry on the shoulder.True !!! Bobby repeated a similar stunt pulling Dylans cord during Baby Blue at RFK in 86!

Subject: First ever Centrum Dead show
This show was the first ever Dead show at the newly opened Worcester Centrum, so yes it did become a must see venue after that ;-) I made it a point to never miss a dead show if I could get to it after this one!

Very crisp AUD. recording...The Centrum became a must-see venue after this show...Check out Stella...Jerry fucks up the opening verse,,,All the years........Bobby was yelling 'combine'......Jerry said 'fuck it', and just kept jamming....by the time we got to every blue light cheap hotel...we were vindicated...awesome show..Great parking lot scene before the show....You just cant party like that anymore..I miss those days.....

Second set marred by vocal meltdowns from what I can hear...oh Jerrry...namely Stella Blue.

Subject: Silberman's 10-21-83
One of the finest audience recordings I have ever heard. Posterity's sake makes the violation of taping rules excusable.

This show is worth it for just the 30-minute scarlet/Fire alone, but a nice Wharf Rat, a rocking Miracle, a Music opener, among others make it a must have.

Source: SBD>>PCM>>Dat>>CDR>>SHN>>DAW(Bertha)>>CDA/SHNThere is another Bertha Remaster of 10/21/83. That version was done with the source that had a cassette gen in the lineage. This version has no cassette gen.
